Oglesby to play in Europe

Clemson guard Terrence Oglesby says he's giving up his final two seasons of eligibility to play professionally in Europe.

Oglesby started 31 games on last season's NCAA tournament team. He averaged 13.2 points and made a team-leading 92 3-pointers, but may be better remembered for his flagrant elbow and ejection in the Tigers' opening-round NCAA tournament loss to Michigan.

The sophomore has dual citizenship in the United States and Norway, where he was born and his father played basketball.

Clemson coach Oliver Purnell said in a statement today that he was disappointed with Oglesby's decision but wished him well in the career.
