Something else going on here.

Something else going on here. Why the wait of 4 years, with the victim now being 18. Why is he being arrested only on word of mouth, per the warrant. If he did it, then let him pay, but this sounds to me more like the result of a personal squabble.

It is very wrong when this

It is very wrong when this kind of stuff happens!!! But when the girl is allowing this to happen, she should be charged as well. The male always get the blame in this case and it is not right. When a father finds that his daughter is having sex with a guy and presses charges, the girl should be charged also by the guys parents, if she was allowing it to happen.

beme, are you currently on

beme, are you currently on something? No 14 year old should be charged because a grown man cannot conduct himself in a proper way. 14 yr olds have a tendency to think like children because they are children! An adult should be expected to know better and act accordingly. If there are any 14 year olds in your neighborhood, I hope that their parents are not allowing them to spend any time alone with you! This is a grown man and he knew better than to go to bed with a 14 yr old, there are plenty of adult women available and he has no excuse!

But WHY the wait of 4 years?

But WHY the wait of 4 years? Beme, it unbelievable that you would suggest that. I think there is much more to this story that is being told, either by the police or by the girl's parents. They either knew about i and were ok with it, or something. If they knew about it for 4 years, definitely they have some responsibility.

it was still a 30 yr old man

it was still a 30 yr old man and a 14 year old girl. Regardless of the extenuating circumstances, this should have never happened.

Did you ever think that the

Did you ever think that the girl lied about her age and this guy thought she was 18 or older. Girls now a days do look older than they really are in most cases.
