Here's what's happening in the Augusta area:


The Augusta GreenJackets celebrate time at home with a Lowcountry boil Monday. There also is baseball to be played. The Jackets face Asheville today through Wednesday. Games start at 2:05 p.m. today and Monday. Tickets cost $1-$11. See


They're making a joyful noise at Gospelfest from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Jessye Norman Amphitheater, James Brown Boulevard at Riverwalk Augusta. Artists include Bobby Sanders, Jubba, Joyceland McCasster & Victorious Soul, Trina P., Voice of Joy and Macedonia Grovetown Worshipers, Robert Jordan and Leonard Williams.

After the Storm performs at 8 p.m. for the Candlelight Jazz series concert at the Eighth Street bulkhead at Riverwalk Augusta. See


The Augusta Concert Band stages its annual free Memorial Day concert at 7 p.m. at the Jessye Norman Amphitheater, Riverwalk Augusta. Call (706) 821-1754.
