Evans High beat Glynn Academy 7-1 on Thursday to clinch the series and advance to the Class AAAA quarterfinals.

The Knights will travel to Loganville on Tuesday to face the defending state champions.

Evans pitchers Tyler Barden and Zack Minter combined to allow just four hits, and the Knights broke open a 1-1 game with six runs in the sixth inning.

GO KNIGHTS!!!!
I graduated from Evans, the old Evans school, in 1963.
We had a great football & baseball team and I'm so happy
to see it's still going on!!!!
I hope y'all make it all the way!!!!
