State labor officials are participating in a statewide radio call-in about jobs Friday.

Georgia Department of Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond and his staff will talk with listeners of 18 Georgia Public Broadcasting radio stations across the state as part of the department’s Jobs in Georgia: A Special Call-in show, according to a Georgia Department of Labor news release.

Listeners are welcomed to ask questions about the current state of the job market, career opportunities and other employment resources provided by the department.

Augusta area listeners can listen to WACG 90.7 FM from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday to hear the call-in show with Mr. Thurmond.

Listeners can call the toll-free number 1-866-RadioGA to ask questions or comment during the program.
