Columbia County authorities released these photos of a man wanted for the Monday robbery of a Martinez Walgreen's.

Wearing a hat, tan shirt and blue denim pants, a white male presented a cashier at the drug store located at 3900 Washington Road with a bottle of water to purchase late Monday evening.

When the employee opened the cash register to make change, the man pushed her away, reached into the register and made off with an unknown amount of money, according to a Columbia County Sheriff’s Office incident report.

Anyone recognizing the man or with information concerning the robbery should call the sheriff’s office at (706) 541-2800.

It is getting a little

It is getting a little ridiculous with all the holdup and robberies in the area. I hope everyone who works at convenience stores, pharmacies, and banks get themselves a firearm and a concealed weapon permit and start gunning down these criminals in their footsteps.
