For anyone interested in lending a hand to President Obama, Organizing for America will stop in Augusta on Saturday as part of its nationwide “listening tours,” where supporters and volunteers talk about how to organize locally to support the president’s agenda.

The meeting will be held at 2 p.m. at Ma Fannie’s Kitchen, 1117 Laney Walker Blvd.

Organizing for America is a project of the Democratic National Committee. According to a news release, the group will also talk about “the best way to provide Americans with the tools to make their voices heard in Washington and help bring about the long-term change voters asked for so overwhelmingly last November.”

Someone played a cruel trick

Someone played a cruel trick on whomever owns that restaurant, to suggest a name like that. What an embarrassment! That is hilarious and sad (because it was such an ignorant choice probably made by someone illiterate) all at the same time.
