Funeral Thursday for UGA victim from Augusta

The funeral for Marie Bruce, an Athens woman killed in a Saturday shooting, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Warren Baptist Church in Augusta with Dr. David H. McKinley officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.

Ms. Bruce, an Athens attorney, grew up in Augusta, where most of her family members still reside.
