Two more former Bulldogs will be playing the in NFL this fall.

Cornerback Asher Allen and defensive end Corvey Irvin were selected on second day of the NFL Draft on Sunday. That brings the total number of former Georgia players taken in this year's draft to five.

Allen and Irvin, a former Laney standout, went in the third round -- Allen with the 86th pick to the Minnesota Vikings and Irvin at No. 93 to the Carolina Panthers.

On Saturday, Detroit took quarterback Matthew Stafford with the top pick of the draft. Denver drafted running back Knowshon Moreno with the 12th pick overall, and Cleveland selected Mohamed Massaquoi at No. 50.
