Through the efforts of USC Aiken basketball fan Janet Parker, a special fundraising effort for Meredith Legg has been established.

Legg, the school's career leading scorer who finished up her career last month, is battling eye cancer.

Parker will sell automobile decals with Legg’s jersey number of 24.

The decals will sell for a minimum of $5 and will be available at USC Aiken home baseball games this week. The Pacers play Pfeiffer at 6:30 tonight and at 4 p.m. Thursday.

The decals also will be available through the USC Aiken women’s basketball office, or through any USC Aiken women’s basketball coach or player.

Parker also will sell the decals at Friday’s Relay for Life event in Aiken.

Parker's goal is twofold - to raise money for Meredith and to visually show her all the support she has when she returns to campus and the community. All proceeds will go to help defray the expenses acquired by Meredith and her family during this fight against cancer.
