Regular Electrical power has been restored at Augusta Regional Airport.

Spokeswoman Dianne Johnston said she's still not sure what caused the outage, but she did say the power failure was caused off airport grounds. She said that because the generator kicks in immediately, it's hard to say how long the power was out, but she figures it was brief.

"We got the blink and then everything came back up," she said.

A spokeswoman for Georgia Power confirmed about 11:45 a.m. that power was out at 1502 Hanger Road and 1501 Aviation Way.

A caller to The Chronicle said a truck had hit a power pole to cause the outage.
