Angry man throws sandwich, breaks $800 Subway sign

  • Follow Latest News

Police say an angry, but unidentified restaurant-goer decided to vent his frustration Monday by throwing his sandwich at a Subway restaurant’s sign.

Valued at about $800, the man destroyed the neon sign about 9 p.m. Monday after an employee refused to remake his sandwich, according to a Richmond County Sheriff’s report.

The man, who could be charged with criminal damage to property in the second degree, fled the Subway on Wrightsboro Road before he could be identified.

HillGuy - "Latest News" is not breaking news. You evidently missed the column from the new AC editor where he explained this. I think it's great. I just want to know what kind of bread was used to make the original offending sammich - I don't want to order it.

Be reasonable people. A sub

Be reasonable people. A sub sanwich will not break a sign. He had to have hit it intentionally or unintentionally with his hand or a harder object.
