GREENWOOD, S.C. — Three people injured in a deadly weekend fire in South Carolina remain in critical condition at an Augusta hospital.

Fire officials are still investigating the cause of the Greenwood fire that killed 3-year-old Arian Makins and 4-year-old Alisha Makins.

Doctors Hospital spokeswoman Beth Frits says a 12-year-old, a 1 year-old and the children's mother, Chrystal Reed, were in Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta this morning.

They had been flown to the facility after the Saturday afternoon fire.

The State Law Enforcement Division arson investigation unit has been called in to help with the case. Authorities say the home did not have smoke detectors.
