Bar fight leads to arrest

A bar fight at an Augusta restaurant Sunday night led to one man being hospitalized and at least one other being arrested.

According to employees at the Teresa’s Mexican Restaurant at 235 Boy Scout Road, two men got into a fight at the restaurant’s outdoor bar. When a third man tried to break up the fight, one of the men cut him across the face with a broken glass mug.

Restaurant employees said that police took at least one man into custody.

The victim was taken to Medical College of Georgia Hospital, a restaurant employee said.
