The Richmond County Sheriff's Office has released video of Tuesday's robbery attempt at CVS on Walton Way, in which a pharmacist shot at the robber.

Shortly after midnight, a man wearing a black mask entered the store at 1520 Walton Way and demanded money from the clerk, according to a Richmond County sheriff's report.

He then made his way to the pharmacy counter, where the pharmacist confronted him and fired three shots, sheriff's Sgt. Calvin Chew said. None of the bullets hit the robber, who fled.

Authorities described the robber as about 6 feet and 180 pounds, Sgt. Chew said.

Good for the pharmacist.

Good for the pharmacist. Every law abiding citizen needs to carry a firearm and stop the thuggery and robberies being committed by the rogue element.
