The National Weather Service in Columbia has issued a severe thunderstorm warning until 2:15 p.m. today for:

* Northwestern McDuffie County.

* Northwestern Columbia County.

* Southern Lincoln County.

The storm -- with penny sized hail -- was over Wilkes County at 1:30 p.m. and moving east at 25 mph.
