AIKEN – A revised plan for a University Hospital office complex off Silver Bluff Road – this time with just one building – will go before planning commissioners Tuesday.

Initially the hospital submitted a long range plan that included the possibility of up to three buildings with a total of 72,000 square feet on 7.5 acres of land.

The Aiken City Council unanimously rejected that plan in January.

Now, University spokeswoman Rebecca Sylvester said, the new plan calls for one building with 12,000 square feet.

More details on University Hospital's Aiken plans will be offered in Saturday's edition of The Chronicle.
