ATLANTA — A man convicted of robbing the same credit union wearing a Dracula mask and brandishing a semiautomatic handgun has been sentenced to more than 20 years in prison.

U.S. District Judge Charles A. Pannell Jr. also ordered Nathaniel Little Jr. of Decatur on Wednesday to pay restitituion of $14,669. The 43-year-old Little pleaded guilty Nov. 12 to armed bank robbery and possession of a firearm during a crime of violence.

U.S. Attorney David E. Nahmias says the sentence "drives a stake into the heart of a simple yet dangerous crime: robbing banks."

Nahmias says Little robbed a CDC Federal Credit Union in Atlanta on Aug. 23, 2006, then hit it again about a month later, ordering tellers to fill a bag with money while pointing the gun at them.
