Someone struck the powerline early this morning with their vehicle, according to a Richmond County Sheriff’s dispatcher.
At least 677 Georgia Power customers lost electricity because of the wreck, according to company spokesman Jeff Wilson.
A portion of Boy Scout Road between Skinner Mill Road and Washington Road has reopened after crews repaired a downed powerline, authorities said this afternoon.
