Aiken Public Safety released security images Tuesday of a man discovered by hospital personnel the previous day in a restricted area. The man fled when confronted, and an inventory later revealed 10 vials of propofol, a sedative used in surgical procedures, were missing.

The man was carrying what appeared to be an IV catheter, authorities said.

Anyone with knowledge of the man's identity or whereabouts is asked to contact Aiken Public Safety at 803-642-7620.
