MIAMI - After a four-day manhunt, police shot and killed a man wanted in connection with a litany of horrific crimes.

Oswain Walcott, also wanted on burglary charges in Augusta, was shot Wednesday night. Police had wanted to question him in the slaying of an 18-year-old movie theater worker whose body was found outside a South Beach apartment last week. The 22-year-old Walcott ran from police Tuesday night and jumped from a second-story window when they attempted to question him.

Police said Walcott then broke into the home of a family on South Beach and held them at knifepoint.

On Wednesday night, police tracked Walcott to a Northeast Miami-Dade apartment complex, where he may have hurled a woman in her 50s from a third-story balcony. They have not identified the woman.

Dude (edst4), he's dead

Dude (edst4), he's dead already. Die more than once? What a concept!.... What a story... I hope there are some answers later. Too bizarre.

Ever heard of refried

Ever heard of refried beans??? This will save some money. Perhaps more police departments should employ these tactics during these difficult economic times.
