Amber alert issued

An Amber Alert has been issued for a one-year-old child who has gone missing from Lancaster, S.C., according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Authorities are looking for suspect Gerardo Reyes, who is believed to be in a tan Isuzu Rodeo, with a South Carolina license plate number 287HYN, according to the center's official Web site. The missing child is identified as Destiny Reyes.

The area in which the alert is in effect includes Aiken, McCormick and Edgefield counties. Anyone with information is asked to call the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office at (803) 283-3388 or (803) 286-9823.
