Authorities have arrested four people in connection with a Tuesday break-in at an Augusta flea market.
Darrious Jackson, 19, of North Augusta, and Brandon Helm, 17, of Hephzibah, each face charges of burglary and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to Richmond County Sheriff’s Investigator Alton Creech.
An unnamed 15-year-old juvenile is also charged with burglary, he said.
A fourth suspect, Darian Postell, 18, of Hephzibah, surrendered this afternoon, authorities said.
The suspects are believed to have forced their way into storage buildings at the South Augusta Flea Market property on Doug Barnard Parkway.
“They cut the locks and then took a large amount of Air Jordan tennis shoes and miscellaneous clothing,” Investigator Creech said.
The suspects allegedly left the property then returned to steal more items later that day, police said.

Mr. Helm can now get prints made of his mug shot and use them as Senior Pictures for his high school yearbook. Why hire a photographer when the taxpayer picks up the bill?

I am not a predejuced[sic] person,but if these hoods white or black want to act like the scum of the earth then they deserve what they get. I believe that we need to change our laws ,so that whatever a sentence a person under 18 years old gets so should the parents. Young people today do not have any core values left and it shows in every family. Kids are allowed to talk back,come and go as they please and quite a few of them are over subsidised by their parents. How many teens do you know in your family that have pt jobs? Go to any high school today and listen to the language and whatch the actions of these kids. It doesn't matter what school,kids today are treated like adults way before their time and not taught enough life skills by their parents to survive in a civilized manner. There are exceptions to every rule, but by not giving kids responsible chores and let them earn some of their things you are not helping the child only retarding them from being gainful and responsible citizens of the community. I really think that with the economic times we are in for we need to help get rid of these disparrities.
