Augusta State ranked No. 1 in first region poll

In the first Southeast Region men's poll of the season released this afternoon, Augusta State checked in at the top spot.

The Peach Belt Conference-leading Jaguars are ranked ahead of league foes Georgia College & State (No. 2), Armstrong Atlantic State (No. 3) and USC Aiken (No. 4). Catawba, Barton, Clayton State, North Georgia, Newberry and Tusculum round out the rest of the poll.

In the Southeast Region women's poll, USC Aiken is ranked fifth.
