Ogilvy wins first PGA event of 2009

KAPALUA, Hawaii - Geoff Ogilvy held onto his big lead at the Mercedes-Benz Championship Sunday, shooting 5-under-par 68 in final round to win by six strokes.

Ogilvy finished the winners-only event at 24-under 268 on the Plantation course. He also held a six-shot lead after 54 holes.

Anthony Kim and Davis Love III shot 6-under to finish in a tie for second.

Former Louisville, Ga., resident Brian Gay (71) tied for 18th at 9-under 283.
