Clearwater man sought by authorities on drug charges

AIKEN - The Aiken County Sheriff's Office is seeking a Clearwater man on drug charges, according to a news release.

Walter L. McFadden Jr., 34, of 2 Westside Drive, is wanted for distribution of crack cocaine and distribution of crack cocaine within a half-mile of a school, according to an arrest warrant.

Mr. McFadden was not at the Westside Drive address Tuesday when sheriff's investigators served a search warrant at his home.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Aiken County Sheriff's Office at (800) 922-9709 or Crimestoppers of the Midlands at (888) CRIME–SC. Callers may remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of between $50 and $1,000.
