Florida police drop probe of Neumar husband's death

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Prosecutors in Florida say they've dropped an investigation into whether an Augusta, Ga., grandmother accused of trying to hire someone to kill one of her five dead husbands in North Carolina also killed a husband in Florida.

Monroe County, Fla., sheriff's officials had said investigators were having a hard time locating records in the death on Betty Neumar's third husband, Richard Sills, who died in 1965.
