Julian Durden III, 20, and William Dalzell, 23, are wanted on charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault on a police officer, according to a Richmond County Sheriff’s press release.

At about 1 a.m. Sunday, Burke County authorities notified Richmond County deputies of a chase involving a black Nissan pickup. They began chasing the suspects on Georgia Highway 56 after the pickup crossed the county line, a sheriff’s report said. The passenger in the truck fired numerous rounds from a rifle at deputies – striking patrol cars from all three agencies.

Richmond County deputies returned fire before the suspects abandoned the pickup at a dirt road off Brown Road, a sheriff’s report said. Tracking dogs were called in but the suspects managed to elude capture.

Police began chasing the men after an armed robbery at a Waynesboro Waffle House. Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to call the sheriff’s office at (706) 821-1080 or (866) 939-5050. Callers may remain anonymous.

This is why I support cops having AT-4s. Wanna run? Not a problem. See if you can outrun this AT-4 round.
