Aiken man dead after morning wreck on I-20 bridge

An Aiken man is dead following an early morning wreck on Interstate 20 in Richmond County.

Jessie Aaron Petoskey, 29, was killed after he slammed into the guard rail on the Savannah River Bridge and was ejected from the car shortly after 1 a.m., according to Richmond County Sheriff’s Maj. Richard Weaver.

Two passengers, Hanna Goodwin, 19, of Edgefield, and Derek Brower, 22, of Augusta, were transported to the Medical College of Georgia for treatment.
