Meybohm Commercial Properties merged with Palmetto Properties and Realty Co. in Aiken, the companies announced this morning.

Palmetto Properties was formed in 2000 by Tad Barber to provide commercial real estate services in the area.

“Joining Meybohm Commercial gives my associates and me the opportunity to take advantage of the resources of a larger real estate firm without sacrificing the personal service that we currently offer at Palmetto Properties,” Mr. Barber said.

Mr. Barber will continue to co-manage the merged operation.

Meybohm Commercial is now completing plans to move their Aiken offices to downtown Aiken on Lauren’s Street beside its residential and property management office there.

The new office should open in the next 60 days, the company reported.
