WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Jeremy Long, the father of 11 children and teenagers found living in squalor in rural Burke County in July, was granted a $25,000 bond by Superior Court Judge James Blanchard today.

Mr. Long is charged with felony cruelty to children.

As a condition, Judge Blanchard told Mr. Long that if he makes bond he must check in with the Burke County Sheriff’s Office daily or be rearrested. The judge also said he should find a job and have supervised visitation with his children, who are in Burke County Department of Family and Children Services’ custody.
