One-car crash kills Hephzibah man

A Hephzibah man is dead after his car hydroplaned and flipped over about 2 a.m. Tuesday off Browns Road.

Bryan Ritenour, 23, of Mark Walter Road, was partly ejected from his Honda Civic, according to Richmond County sheriff’s Maj. Richard Weaver.

A passenger in the car, 41-year-old Benjamin Allen, also of Hephzibah, is undergoing treatment at Medical College of Georgia Hospital. He is listed in good condition, a hospital spokesman said.
