A man who police had named as a suspect in a Monday night shooting turned himself into police today and is no longer considered a suspect, the Richmond County Sheriff's Office said.

Lewis Harmon, 24, of Augusta turned himself into authorities on unrelated charges, according to a sheriff’s office news release. Police had named him as a suspect in the shooting death of Johnny Davis, a 65-year-old Augusta man.
