A 32-year-old Augusta man was arrested earlier this afternoon on a Peeping Tom charge involving an incident at the Target in Richmond County.

Charles David Tremblay, 32, was arrested when he reported to work at Wild Wings Café on Washington Road, said Richmond County sheriff’s investigator Scott Peebles.

Investigator Peebles said Mr. Tremblay was caught on video cameras in the store using his cell phone to take pictures or video under the skirts of unsuspecting female shoppers. He was investigated in November in a similar incident at the Augusta Mall. In that case, a bystander said Mr. Tremblay placed his phone under the skirt of an unsuspecting female, according to the sheriff’s office.

Mr. Tremblay is currently on probation for three counts of Peeping Tom in Athens. So far, he’s been charged with two counts of Peeping Tom, one involving Target and one involving the Augusta Mall incident.
