Waffle House robbed

AIKEN - Aiken County investigators are looking for a man who robbed a Waffle House located off of Interstate 20 near the South Carolina Highway 19 exit this morning.

According to a statement from the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, a man wearing a ski mask, camouflage pants and shorts entered the restaurant about 3:12 a.m. and threatened an employee with a knife, although one was never seen.

The man grabbed the cash register and ran outside to a white, four-door Mazda that was driven by another individual, the statement said.
