Tes Sobomehin has been named the new head coach of the Augusta State women’s basketball program, athletic director Clint Bryant announced today.

Sobomehin is the former head coach of Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Mich. She spent three seasons at the helm of the Lady Hornets’ program.

“Tes has the ability in all facets of the profession to lead Lady Jaguar basketball to new heights,” Bryant said in a statement. “She is an outstanding motivator who will not only bring distinction to the team but to our athletic department and Augusta State University as well.”

Sobomehin replaces Greg Wilson, who resigned in March after nine years as the women's coach.
