Ramp closing times changed
From Staff Reports
Tuesday, June 24, 2008 10:32 a.m.

Georgia transportation officials changed the times today for ramp closures at the Interstate 20-Lewiston Road interchange.

Starting today, the state Department of Transportation will close some ramps at the interchange from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. through Thursday. The closures had been planned for daytime hours, but expected high temperatures prompted DOT officials to reschedule the resurfacing project to the evening and early-morning hours, according to a DOT news release.

Ramp closures also are expected from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. Monday and July 1.

Motorists should use an alternative route during those times.
