Dr. George Bradley named Paine College president

The Paine College Board of Trustees announced this evening that Dr. George C. Bradley has been named the school's 14th president, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of Dr. Shirley Lewis.

Dr. Bradley is currently a full professor and serves in the position of executive vice president at Claflin University in Orangeburg, S.C.

He will assume the presidency Jan. 2.
