Wanted man spotted in Aiken

AIKEN -- Police say a 20-year-old man wanted in Barnwell for armed robbery and home invasion was spotted in Aiken near the McDonald's on Whiskey Road this afternoon.

According to a statement from Aiken Public Safety, Donance Montrell Mayes, of Blackville, should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about Mr. Mayes should contact public safety at (803) 642-7620.
