Augusta State's finale draws almost 2 million viewers

Augusta State's appearance Saturday in the Division II Men's Basketball National Championship Game was seen by an average of 1.72 million viewers, according to CBS' Scott Fisher, Vice President of Sports & Affiliate Research.

Fisher said by e-mail the game, won by Winona State, drew a 1.3 rating with a 3 share. He added that the average number of viewers was up slightly over the 2007 game (1.717).
