Columbia County seeking leads in Monday vehicle break-ins

Columbia County authorities are looking for those involved in several vehicle break-ins on Monday.

The thefts took place between 5 and 6 p.m. when someone broke into five vehicles -- one at Cracker Barrel and four at Augusta Sportswear.

The Sheriff's Office has released images from the surveillance video at Cracker Barrel. The suspects' vehicle is a white van most likely a 1997 -- 2001 Chevrolet Astro Van.

The theft suspect, identified as a white male, was in the passenger seat. There is no information on the driver.

The stolen credit cards were used afterward at businesses in Richmond County.
