Father makes girls' guests bathe in prayer at gunpoint

  • Follow Metro

SYLVANIA, Ga. --- A Screven County father who found two young men hiding in the bathroom of his house held them at gunpoint and made them pray aloud until deputies arrived and arrested them on charges of criminal trespass.

Screven County Sheriff Mike Kile said the man's daughters, age 14 and 17, invited the young men to the house last week.

"Daddy held them at gunpoint and told them to pray, and they did," Kile said. "He told them to pray louder, and they did."

Charged Jan. 12 were Larnell Andre Gholson, 19, and Jeremy L. Wiles, 20.

The young men said they didn't know one of the girls was so young, but they did know they should have gotten the father's permission to be in the residence.

The sheriff said he was glad no one was hurt.

"He was trying to protect the girls," Kile said. "It worked very, very well."

The girls ran the water in the shower to make their father think nothing was awry, the sheriff said, but the ploy didn't work.

"He knew they didn't take showers that long," he said.

The lesson learned?

"Don't bring boys over without your daddy knowing," Kile said. "Daddies can come home early and get really mad when their daughters' honor is at stake."

@Don'tLiveThereAnymore....all

@Don'tLiveThereAnymore....all you can do is teach your children right from wrong and hope for the best. I know sooner or later my girls are going to find someone they can't live without and give themselves to them, but that's sort of how it's supposed to be, versus giving themselves to any old boy that comes along looking for his next nut. @SpringStorm, the father is the homeowner and the girls are his minor children under his authority. He had every right to do what he did and press tresspassing charges. You don't have daughters, do you?

I say the man did the exact

I say the man did the exact right thing - there was no way that those boys were going to get away and it's a guarantee that they won't sneak back into the house. No harm done, they will probably do some community service and learn a valuable lesson for the time when they become fathers of daughters. I can guess that the daughters didn't escape their father's wrath either. Remember the boys a few years ago who were partying with girls over a period of time and enjoying oral sex? Did they go to jail and have their pictures plastered in the newspaper even though the girls were the actual ones who invited them? This father might have kept that from happening - at least this time he did. Don't jump on HIM - boys will be boys, especially if girls INVITE them to be boys. Well done dad - they might even have gotten saved during the sweet hour of prayer. Wonder how long it took the police to get there and how their own parents reacted?

I say the father conducted

I say the father conducted business the way he should have. If he is smart enough to hold a gun on these two delinquents and make them pray while waitng on the police to arrive, something tells me he is smart enough to know his daughters are not completely innocent. If I had to guess, those two are being dealt with as we speak!

Springstorm are you a

Springstorm are you a nut?????? Did you read the ages of the girls and the guys??????? The father did what he should have done, he scared the crap out of them and made them pray for their lives, maybe next time they will ask to see some ID before they try to sneak around with underage girls....being a Christian nor a psycho has anything to do with it. Apparently you don't have young girls in your house.

Good job dad. Even though the

Good job dad. Even though the girls invited them in the house for whatever reason doesn't give them the right to have relations with a 14 year. The law doesn't care who invited who, but it does care and states that if you are caught messing with someones 14 year old child you will have a legal problem forever. I'm sure this isn't the first time but they are the ones who got CAUGHT IN THE HOUSE!!!

I completely agree with CA

I completely agree with CA BOATWRIGHT!!! And for most of you out there you really don't understand what kinds of things happen when young girls lie about their ages. They don't face any criminal charges. But the boys surely do. The are faced with a life long sentence of being labeled sex offenders. Yes the father was in the right to protect his girls but, there should be some law changes to protect guys just the same as to protect these girls. And for those who said well the girls invited them in... guess what it doesn't matter in any state. They are minors and can't invite anyone in. Only the property owner or leased adult can. And with so many young girls out there lying about their ages these days everyone should be more careful about who they are messing with. It really is sad how girls get away with so much. Me being a mother of two young girls myself do intend to make it known that if they ever try this they will be punished just as the boys or men they choose to lie to. Even if that means they spend a few days in a juvenile center to show them they can't go around ruining peoples lives over a few lies.

These 2 men weren't trespassing. They were invited into the dwelling by its occupants and then they were violently oppressed by yet another radical, hypocritical Christian.
