WHAT: A free parenting conference by Crossroads Counseling of Augusta with author and speaker Paul Tripp

WHEN: 7-9:15 p.m. Jan. 15 and 9 a.m. to noon Jan. 16

WHERE: West Acres Baptist Church, 555 Gibbs Road, Evans

THE CONFERENCE: Sessions include "What is a family?", "What in the world is a teenager?" and "It's not only your teenager who is struggling!" Mr. Tripp will speak on the deeper "heart issues" that cause conflict in families with teens, along with sin and discipline for children of all ages. Child care is provided.

ABOUT PAUL TRIPP: He is president of Paul Tripp Ministries, a nonprofit. He is on the staff at Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, where he leads the Ministry to Center City. He is also a professor of Pastoral Life and Care at Redeemer Seminary in Dallas
