AIKEN, S.C. - Mrs. Elvira Campoverde Flores, 87, of Aiken, SC, beloved wife of the late Javier N. Flores and daughter of the late Aurelio and Celinda Andrade Campoverde, entered into rest Thursday, December 31st, 2009. Born in Pasaje, Ecuador, she had been a Zebulon, GA, before making Aiken, SC, her home in 2006. She was a homemaker and was of the Catholic faith. Family members include her children, George R. Flores, (Reba) Aiken, SC, Hedy Measor, (George T.) Aiken, SC, Alex Flores, (the late Hilda) Aiken, SC and Alan Flores, (Naydamar) Zebulon, GA; siblings, Luzmila Davila and Arturo Campoverde, both of Ecuador, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. At her request, Mrs. Flores was cremated and a Celebration of Life Service for her along with her late beloved husband Javier will be held at a later date in 2010.
