I have appreciated your publishing my letters in the past. But I cannot let your editorial of Dec. 10 pass without comment ("Scary, suffocating regulation").
The next time you want to write a seriously dumb editorial linking control of carbon emissions to socialism and threats to the "American way of life," you might want to first get your heads out of the sand.
Once the gas pumps run dry and there is no food at Publix, and all the unemployment benefits and COBRA insurance plans are used up, your readers will not be giving a fig about socialism. That's a guarantee. You need to get off the same old "Obama is a socialist" routine, because it's starting to sound very, very tired. Obama is doing the bidding of the corporatocracy, not the people who elected him. And it's business as usual in Washington.
That you and the rest of the Tea Party contingent are blind to that fact is truly infuriating. But at least I don't have to waste my time reading any more of your stupid and ignorant editorials. You guys, along with all the other right-wing crazy people, are out of it. It's time to face the truth and educate your readers as to what is really going on. The Dec. 10 editorial was useless in that regard.
Thank you for you attention, and please try to do better. Your readers depend on you to speak truth to power. The last thing they need is more myths about how altruistic and savvy the private sector is, and how it would solve all our problems if government would just go away. It isn't, and it wouldn't.

Yesterday, after pressure from the Obama administration, the dairy association agreed to find ways to limit the release of gaseous ommissions from manure. This helps foreign producers immensely. We have actually come to that point in limiting our productivity in this country. I say BS (pun intended) to this BS.
I give my cows Gas X. makes my barn much more pleasant to work in, and if everyone does it, the Artic ice won'[t disappear in five years.
Ok Joni......explain how the actions of man are causing the polar ice caps of Mars to melt? The only cares there are solar powered. Maybe you can get some government funded scientists to fudge the numbers on their research for you to support your claim.......it's been working for years.
According to Joni, it is considered "ignorant" to consider ALL scientific evidence and to NOT forcefully suppress any evidence that contradicts your preconceived conclusion, like the NUMEROUS government funded global warming scientists have been caught red handed doing.
There is NO GLOBAL warming..These "scientist" that proclaim AGW are NUTS...Data from New Zealand, Australia, Alaska, and that collected by the CRU have been adjusted (altered to show global warming)..The head of CRU states in his emails" The temperature is not increasing and we can't say why..." The predictions of rate of change of temperature in relation to CO2 have not panned out..ie if CO2 rises so much temperture should rise so much is not working according to the AGW folks own theory..The email files released on the internet, especially the "read me Harry" file show how corrupt the data is..AGW is a "scientific" hoax..many scientists that trusted the integrity of the AGW crowd are jumping ship because they don't want to loose their reputations over this mess...It is odd that I have to read papers from England to watch this whole thng unfold ..the latest funny is that the disappearance of Himalayan glaciers..the UN report says by 2034..the actual projection in the research article was 2304..nobody checked, don't forget Al Bore mis quoting dates on emails and when artic ice will disappear.. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA..
I also said in posts the EPA thinks it can now regulate every industry in America because of junk science and Joni doesn't think this is socialism?
The popular "science" promoted by the political left and the socialist controlled EPA is in the news because of rock solid proof of manipulation of facts. "Ignore the man behind the curtain" didn't even work in the movies. What is, is, Joni. Fantasy is fantasy and reality is reality. Part of being an adult is learning the difference and learning to deal with it. You've chosen the wrong side to root for on this issue. Hope you get over it.

A new report says that the "earth's cycle of warming and cooling" is controlled by "sun spots". Who would have thought that the "sun" would be having a warming effect on the earth. Eureka!!! You have to love science. Lard is bad, now it is good. Taking synthetic oil and whipping hydrogen into it is good, now it is bad. Salt intake is bad or the body regulates salt in body fluids. 45 for a high temperature in the deep south does not sound like global warming to me.
Now we have to deal with the fact that the same "human global warming PHD's" agree that we must stop the production and use of Dihyrogen Monoxide. It is being added to "low fat, low sugar, low calorie foods". They signed a petition.
This is all just a big conspiracy. They already caused the car companies and all the jobs they provide to need government handouts, because the government put so many emission rules on them. Next it is going to be the farmers, which is going to cause a food shortage in this country, which will cause prices to go up, which will in turn cause more people to become dependant on the government to eat. butler - That is an easy one, they ate plants (powered by CO2) then belched and had some flatulence which made more CO2 and then the cycle repeated itself. And up, that 3cm rise in the sea levels over the last 100 years is indeed frightening! The issue remains MAN MADE global warming. The fact that the planet goes through cycles just like our women is not in dispute.
I might add, if anybody knows a way to stop either cycle, please let the rest of us know! I suppose I should mention that the volcano that is currently active and forcing evacuations has released more "greenhouse gasses" into the atmosphere in the last week than all of mankind has since the cavemen discovered how to make mastadon brisket tender.....

This yr there is snow storms in areas that are earlier than in several yrs. We are having colder weather earlier than have had. There are cycles of warm and cold and have been for yrs and yrs. Isn't it strange how it is the prezbho followers that are the ones supporting this global warming farce? Very telling. Some will believe anything 'the annointed one' says, with no questions and when the facts (scientists) differ.
