The Pennies for Peace Committee at John S. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School will present a short video the club made about the Pennies for Peace program on Tuesday at a meeting of the CSRA Peace Alliance.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Headquarters library of the East Central Georgia Regional Library System at 902 Greene St.

Pennies for Peace is a global nonprofit organization that raises money for the Central Asia Institute, which establishes schools in Afghanistan and Pakistan, focusing on remote regions and girls' education.

Jason Jillella, who founded the Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School club with twin brother Michael, said the video will discuss what the 30-member club has accomplished and give background on the club.
