Curtis Edward Barnes (NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.)

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mr. Curtis Edward Barnes, 57, of Todd Avenue, entered into rest November 21, 200. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Old Storm Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Nathaniel Irvin officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Barnes was a graduate of North Augusta High School and a member of Old Storm Branch Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Diane Friday Barnes; two daughters, Erika (Dewayne) Bailey and Niya Barnes; his mother, Estelle Johnson Cook; four sisters, Frances (Lernardo) Childs, Cheryl Cook, Cynthia (Jackie) Vinson and Doris (Roderick) Pearson; three brothers, Bernard Barnes, James (Portia) Cook and Gregory Taylor; father and mother in law, Robert and Carrie Friday; uncle, Joe Louis (Lillie) Johnson; brother-in-law, Michael Friday; three grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
