Chosen randomly from the correct entries was the name of Jacob Ley, of Martinez. He wins a gift from The Augusta Chronicle.

Other readers identifying the Lincoln were:

AIKEN: Bob Hardt wrote: "Lincoln has 3 different models in the MK series -- the MKS, MKT and MKZ. The grilles are similar, but different enough for me to go with the MKS model, the four-door luxury model, the top one besides the MKT SUV. All have a big grille in the front, kind of a love-them-or-leave-them look. It grows on you, but personally into the sportier models."

CUMMING, Ga.: Chris Rhodes wrote: "The MKS is powered by the same EcoBoost twin-turbo, direct-injected V-6 available in Ford's hot new Taurus SHO."

EVANS: Bill Harding wrote: "It can be had with an optional EcoBoost, twin-turbo, direct-injection 3.5-liter V-6 and all-wheel drive.  I think that the front-end styling is a bit gauche but since beauty is said to be in the eye of the beholder, here's hoping that Lincoln finds some easier-to-please beholders than me. It's even uglier than an Acura." Also, Wayne Wilke

HEPHZIBAH: Jason Wright wrote: "Even luxury owners are looking for a bargain, and Lincoln has done its homework well. A loaded 4WD MKS with 20-inch chrome wheels, voice activated navigation, adaptive cruise control, active parking assist and the 3.5 EcoBoost V-6 costs around $54,000. This undercuts a loaded Cadillac AWD CTS (with 18-inch wheels, no adaptive cruise and 305 horsepower) by $4,000, the Mercedes E350 (with 18-inch wheels by $10,000 and BMW 528i xDrive by $5,000.

"Ironically the main competitor Lincoln will face is from its owner -- Ford. A 2010 Ford Taurus SHO comparably equipped undercuts the MKS by about $5,000. The SHO and the MKS share AWD, Sync technology for electronic music and phone integration, and the 3.5 EcoBoost V-6 and are assembled and painted in the same facility. Here's hoping that potential luxury car buyers don't look too hard." Also, Eddie Cleaves

MCBEAN: Robert A. Lamb

MARTIN, S.C.: Gregory Simmons said: "A pretty strong four-door family car. It's got good features. The price is sort of steep, from $40,000 to almost $50,000, with no V-8. We'll have to see what they do against other cars in the class."
