The front-page article Nov. 13, ("Holland ends terms with trip to conference") is just another example of wasteful spending by some of our elected officials. Mr. Holland has only seven weeks left in office. Why would he even consider attending such a conference?
Augusta will not progress unless we get the right elected personnel in place. I know what I am talking about, because I am a retired military man who has lived here for 35 years.

Just shows a shameful waste of taxpayer money. He prpably felt entitled to a free trip on the Richmond County/Augusta tax payers. He will not nor has ever done a thing for Augusta but take.
Have any of them done anything for the taxpayers? They`re all in it for themselves and to feed their egos. I`m ready to leave this place, anyone want to buy a house??
Well he is certainly not a good steward of our money. However, he is not alone. The commissioner seats need to be wiped clean. New people....no family members.
