CAN'T MAKE IT SATURDAY? Don't worry. The Holiday Gingerbread Village will be on display in the Augusta Museum of History Rotunda today through Nov. 29 during regular museum hours (Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 to 5 p.m.). Admission is free.

Ingrid Etterlee needed more royal icing as she worked last week on a gingerbread replica of the Miller Theatre for the Holiday Gingerbread Village competition at Augusta Museum of History. The first-time contest participant won most artistic.

Ms. Etterlee applies black icing to make the letters for Miracle on 34th Street on the Miller Theatre replica's marquee. She wanted to stay as authentic as possible, choosing a Christmas-themed movie that actually played at the theater on Sept. 19, 1947.
